Office and Events Coordinator
4 month contract
Onsite - NYC
Must Haves:
Coordinating various student life events and activities, assisting with student group leader training, overseeing student organization budgets, and supporting the Assistant Dean in event approvals and room reservations. Managing front desk operations, coordinating the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) budget, maintaining calendars, processing timesheets, and managing office supplies and mailings. Supporting orientations, organizing events, coordinating with vendors, resolving scheduling conflicts, and assisting with graduation logistics. Conducting interviews, scheduling and training student hires, and managing their responsibilities across various tasks.

Must Haves:
- High school diploma or its equivalent required.
- 3+ years of experience in a high volume administrative/customer service environment required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to interact with a wide variety of visitors and professional contacts in an effective and gracious manner.
- Proficiency in MS Office required.
- College Degree
- Experience in a university, major cultural institution or other comparable environment is desirable.
