Planet Interactive is looking for a Localization Project Manager to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract. This role will work 40 hours per week and will require you to be onsite 3 days per week in their Cupertino office.
Localization Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Produce localized content with limited supervision.
- Oversee Localization projects from end to end.
- Ensure that localization projects are on track, relevant to the audience, and represent client voice in the market place.
- Work closely with vendors to outline expectations.
- Manage the input of localized data into multiple internal and vendor systems without error.
- Coordinate projects with vendors, localization team staff, the legal team and other departments across client localizing content.
- Linguistic skill in language other than English; excellent English communication skills.
- BA in Linguistics / Translation, Graphic Design, Marketing or business-related field.
- Project management experience; localization production preferred.
- Experience in methods of Software QA and/or QA automation is a plus.
- Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Highly detail-oriented, and be able to judge and manage linguistic issues for 39 languages and all territories.
