Description:
Lab technician should have knowledge and relevant experience with performing quantitative and qualitative testing of raw materials, ingredients and finish products, analyze product samples and operate lab equipment.
Work includes;
Collect samples, properly label and document to specification
Test samples and compare results to required specification
Communicate test results with production operators
Log test results in system data base
Operate analytical lab equipment
Analyze test data and document results
Perform product/process verification activities
Worked in an industrial lab setting
Applicants experience should be relevant to the listed descriptions and reflect some ability to commit to working with any one company/entity for an extended period
The successful candidate must be able to work a 2PM-10PM shift. Under limited supervision, conducts in-process and finished product testing to determine adherence to established specifications of quality and purity. Attendance and punctuality is required. Essential Job Functions: Conduct laboratory tests and analyze data for a variety of purposes, such as production, quality control, and minor research. Test and analyze products such as flour and wheat products to determine if product meets plant specifications prior to release. Release within specification vessels and report out of specification vessels. Document results of testing in Total Lab Client (TLC). Complete Certificates of Analyses. Prepare chemical solutions for use in the lab. Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and related field instrumentation. Maintains awareness and adheres to all FDA, GMP, EPA, OSHA, and employer standards and guidelines. Support and comply with all food safety, quality, and legality requirements. Other duties as assigned.

· Good Attendance, Including Flexible Schedule and Can Coordinate with Co-Workers
