Job Description
LMS Administrator
The Regional LMS Administrator is responsible for system and content administration in the SuccessFactors LMS. This position works with Instructional Designers, e-Learning Developers, Instructors, and other LMS administrators to plan, organize, manage, and support learning content and events consisting of e-learning, virtual classroom and instructor-led sessions, and any associated supporting assets.
The core work of this role lies in LMS Administration, troubleshooting, and reporting. This role is heavily project-based. Applicant should have experience working on projects strategically, understanding how to prepare for project updates and where/when to pivot. Must be self-directed and able to ramp up to work independently when needed. Ideally, we are looking for an LMS Administrator who has experience in E-learning Development and troubleshooting, BUT we do not want someone who wants a career in E-learning development.

Pay Rate: Up to $36/hr

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate, prioritize, execute, and administer learning projects from the LMS intake queue, and/or as assigned by the Learning Technology Manager and/or Sr. Learning Technology Specialist
• Build expertise in all aspects of administration in the SuccessFactors LMS including creating training, managing learners, curating content, reporting, and improving user experience
• Provide division specific governance and/or optimization agenda items including technical learnings and updates; participate in discussions and decisions about best practices, system configuration, pain points and support issues
• Enforce governance accountability, and provide technical, process, and best practice support to lower level LMS administrators
• Interface with Regional Admin peers around the globe, HRIS, and IT for timely resolution of escalated support issues
• Develop and maintain knowledge of industry best practices, and for SuccessFactors LMS specifically; Help drive organizational adoption of new and existing tools and technologies
• Manage testing cycles for project work, and also for the research and implementation of new features and best practices
• Act as primary resource for researching and resolving escalated support tickets
Key Skills:
• 2 to 3 years of experience in LMS management/administration (preferably with SuccessFactors LMS or Plateau) in a corporate environment; Workday experience a plus
• Strong understanding of:
? the e-learning development cycle and the role of LMS in testing and implementation
? classroom training administration, including both in-person and virtual classroom training
? reporting capabilities of an LMS, and how to retrieve and analyze data for stakeholders
• Proven project management skills, including identifying and escalating issues and/or potential risks
• Strong analytical, and process development skills; Excellent customer service, communication, and partnering skills
• Demonstrable independent problem solving capability, including ability to research root cause, assess urgency/importance, identify appropriate partners, and resolve within expected SLA timelines
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project & PowerPoint) are required; experience with one or more e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Captivate, Brainshark), and Adobe Connect virtual learning platform is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of SCORM or AICC principles to ensure receipt of content packages are in the correct format for publishing and to maximize LMS reporting functionality
• Previous experience working with a global customer base is desired
