LIMS LabVantage v8.4 Project Manager – (Contract) – Remote – 1-yr., Pacific Coast Hours
Biopharmaceutical organization seeks a LIMS LabVantage Project Manager with version 8.4 or higher, for a remote Pacific Time, 6-month contract opportunity. Ideal candidate will have a technical background, having moved into the Project Management side, with at least 3 years in project management. Ideal individual will have the ability to liaise cross-organizationally to assist not only with LIMS but IT, Finance, Operations, and within other areas as needed.
Requirements:
US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
Willing to commit to being online during west coast hours for availability purposes.
Prior experience having worked as Project Manager on LabVantage LIMS version 8.4 and higher projects to include full SDLC as PM.
Prior people management skills.
Ideally prior experience with LV ELN implementation.
Prior enterprise integration project experience within MES, ERP, SDMS and Dell Boomi (highly desired but not required).
SmartSheet and JIRA expertise would be idyllic.
Career progression having started on the technical aspect of LIMS moving into the Project Management side and having worked within that capacity for a minimum of 3 years, is a desirable background progression but will consider others.
Responsibilities:
Serving as project manager to liaise cross-organizationally with various departments to include IT, Finance, Operations and others, to manage projects as needed in support of Senior IT Manager.
Managing teams in geographically dispersed areas on a remote basis to deliver projects for the KLIMS program.
Serving as key point of contact across various IT project workstreams to ensure appropriate tracking, risk assessment and escalation, and project timelines are properly managed, while updating correct stakeholders accordingly.
Interfacing with technical and business teams to define detailed schedule, timelines and deliverables ensuring constant communication of these.
Creating project plans and work schedules to meet business needs.
Regularly providing updates and status reporting on progress and delays to include developing a project communication plan, utilizing dashboards and reporting for communication and developing and maintaining requisite project management documentation in alignment with organizational standards.
Developing and managing project budgets to include delivery of accurate financial forecasting and reporting.
Assisting in the facilitation of project execution while following Change Control, CAPA and Deviation process.
Participating in all phases of application implementations to include owning key deliverables while assisting in the enforcement of the SDLC.
Utilization of project management tools to include SmartSheets and JIRA.
Managing such projects as LabVantage version 8.4 to 8.8 upgrade, SAP integrations with LIMS, LabVantage ELN implementation, and other operational projects as needed.
