? IT/Project Manager – ERP & Systems Initiatives
Are you a strategic IT/Project Manager ready to take ownership of key initiatives and drive business transformation? Our client, an innovative, growth-oriented organization, is seeking an IT/Project Manager to lead technology projects, manage ERP enhancements (Prophet 21 Cloud), and ensure the seamless coordination of IT initiatives across departments.
This is a newly created, high-impact role with visibility across the organization. You’ll work directly with leadership and department heads to define project goals, implement technical solutions, and drive results that matter.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead IT and business system projects from planning to delivery, managing timelines, milestones, budgets, and resources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and align priorities.
Act as the project lead for ERP-related initiatives (Prophet 21 Cloud), ensuring optimization and successful integration with business processes.
Serve as liaison between technical teams, external vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Support IT infrastructure improvements in coordination with internal team members, hardware, software, cloud, and network-related upgrades.
Monitor and report on project status, risks, and performance metrics to leadership.
Maintain documentation, establish best practices, and ensure compliance with IT and security policies.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and cost-effective solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of experience managing IT projects, systems implementations, or ERP initiatives.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid approaches).
Prior experience with ERP systems, ideally Prophet 21 (P21), or similar mid-market ERP platforms.
Skilled in creating detailed project plans, tracking performance, and mitigating risks.
Effective communicator, able to translate business needs into actionable technical plans.
Experience collaborating across teams and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Comfortable working with both internal IT resources and third-party service providers.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud systems, and general business applications.
Nice-to-Haves:
Direct experience with Prophet 21 ERP (Cloud version preferred).
Exposure to ecommerce systems and digital transformation projects.
PMP, CAPM, or other relevant project management certifications.
Familiarity with system customization, integration, and workflow optimization.
