Job Description: 

The Human Resources function is tied directly with the Bank’s high-priority objectives of providing an inclusive, dynamic workforce. The HR Business Partner team focuses on efforts aimed at engaging, retaining, and developing employees through a myriad of comprehensive programs. The team is highly engaged in the cultural aspects of the Bank, driving strategy, measurements, and employee relations as part of its core mission. The HRBP team is also directly connected to the Bank’s mission and high-priority objectives by delivering performance management and complete HR strategy programs.

The Team-
The client's Human Resources team goal is to attract, retain, and engage highly qualified employees who have a passion for public service through the use of targeted policies and programs. HR collaborates with management on this goal and provides consultative services through its four units.

Position Contributions-
This position, which reports to the Director of HR Business Partners, is responsible for providing general support to the HRBP team in the areas of: employee relations processes, ad hoc client requests, engagement survey action planning, and other project tasks, as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • In collaboration with the HRBP team, assists with potentially complex employee relations investigations and employee-relations (ER) activities; partners with Legal as necessary.
  • Consult with business leaders on HR policies and processes, including talent planning, learning and development and performance management to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development.
  • In response to client requests, you will be responsible for collaborating with HR functional experts to develop solutions and make recommendations.
  • Assists with supporting leaders and employees by providing guidance on a variety of employee life cycle topics.
  • Other duties would include: Talent Reviews and succession planning preparation in addition to work on the end-of-year performance management process.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Knowledge and experience normally acquired through, or equivalent to, the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field.
  • At least 3+ years of related HR experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required.
  • Knowledge of Workday beneficial.
  • Basic understanding of HR-related federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Experience working through employee relations matters including investigations.
