The HR Specialist provide operations support to the to the People Strategy team.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of professional HR experience; preferably within healthcare.
• Shared services experience a bonus.
• Experience with reports and data analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide support to the People Strategy Team.
• Analysis and use data to show trends.
• Use data to create reports.
• Use data to create business cases.
• Answer HR email inbox.
• Reply to unemployment claims.
• Track appropriate data and metrics for team deliverables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
• Some knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws in employee related practices including FLSA, FMLA, HIPAA, EEO, ADA, and other related compliance areas.
• Strong knowledge of human resources operations and best practices.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and follow through including prioritizing, keeping track of information or work in progress, ensuring accuracy, attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to self-motivate, be proactive, and take initiative, while working both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and interact with others across the organization.
