A construction company in Quincy, MA seeks a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join their growing team. 

Human Resources Manager

Must Haves:
  • 5-7+ years progressive HR experience including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, employee engagement, etc.
  • Experience developing and implementing HR processes and policies
  • Small company experience
Preferred:
  • Construction or similar industry experience
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Oversee HR function including recruitment and onboarding, company branding, policy and process design and implementation, employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, etc.
  • Work with leadership to develop HR strategy and implement process improvements as necessary.
  • Handle employee relations including coaching, handling complex and sensitive questions and inquiries, investigations, terminations, etc.
  • Handle compensation research and analysis and develop competitive comp plans including base and incentive pay.
  • Handle training, learning & development, and performance management. Create programs and processes that foster growth and internal opportunities.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Other HR duties as assigned.
