Pay Range: $29.50-$31.50/hr
Must Haves:
Our organization seeks to temporarily fill the Human Resources Assistant position. The Human Resources Assistant performs broad administrative and staff support duties, such as recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and general office management.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions

Must Haves:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate with a diversity of individuals
- Complete understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Familiar with database systems and common HR and recruitment applications
- Experience working with Asana or other related project management software
- Experience working for a government and/or municipality
Our organization seeks to temporarily fill the Human Resources Assistant position. The Human Resources Assistant performs broad administrative and staff support duties, such as recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and general office management.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Responsible for coordinating the talent acquisition process, including job, postings, interview scheduling, generating offer letters
- Responsible for providing guidance and support to hiring managers and tracking job description development and revisions
- Responsible for facilitating the onboarding process for new hires. This includes partnering with Human Resources team at the agency’s fiduciary agent, as well as with internal hiring managers to ensure compliance with all established policies and procedures.
- Serves as a resource to employees. Answers straightforward questions and refers more complex questions and issues to agency leadership or to the Human Resources team at the agency’s fiduciary agent
- As part of the finance and operations team, assists with the general administration of the office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate with a diversity of individuals
