Pay: $80-94/hr
 

Overview

A Project Manager is needed to support the major Digital Instrumentation and Control (I&C) modernization program. The Digital I&C project is a 10+ year effort as part of Subsequent License Renewal (SLR) to upgrade safety and non-safety-related analog systems to digital and transform the main control room to flat panel displays and controls. This role works with a cross-functional team of Project Management peers, design engineers, station stakeholders, schedulers, suppliers, construction, and other specialty project leads to execute the project implementation. Responsibilities include,
  • Leads, manages, and/or supports specific phases of digital I&C project design and implementation
  • Working with the lead Project Manager to develop and manage project scope, budget, schedule and risk
  • Communicating regularly with team, station stakeholders, and other departments through use of presentations, log entries, and monthly reports
  • Heavy interface with other groups, departments, and outside entities are an expectation of this position. Performance of a variety of other duties as requested or assigned are also to be expected.

  • Nuclear utility project management experience

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience managing a full lifecycle digital project

Preferred Years of Experience:
  • 7+ years of nuclear industry experience in the field of construction, engineering, finance and/or management with a minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in project management.

Education:
  • Bachelor Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education
  • Other Education: Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management
Certification
  • PMP certification preferred but not required

Industry
  • Candidate must have nuclear industry experience
