Prophet 21 Business Analyst
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Prophet 21 ERP Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a leading fluid distribution company, we are committed to streamlining our operations and delivering superior customer service. The Prophet 21 ERP Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing our business processes through the implementation and maintenance of the Prophet 21 ERP system.
Responsibilities of the Prophet 21 Business Analyst:
  1. Prophet 21 Implementation: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of the Prophet 21 ERP system to meet the specific needs of our fluid distribution company.
  2. Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with various departments to understand and document their business processes and requirements. Analyze existing workflows to identify areas for improvement and automation.
  3. System Configuration: Configure the Prophet 21 ERP system to align with the company's unique business processes, ensuring optimal efficiency and performance.
  4. Data Management: Oversee data migration and integration efforts, ensuring data accuracy and consistency within the ERP system.
  5. User Training: Develop and deliver training programs to end-users to ensure they can effectively utilize the ERP system, including creating training materials and conducting workshops.
  6. System Maintenance: Proactively identify and resolve system issues and bugs, working closely with IT teams and software vendors to ensure system stability and performance.
  7. Reporting and Analytics: Design and create custom reports and dashboards to provide meaningful insights to different departments, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  8. Change Management: Assist in managing organizational change related to the Prophet 21 ERP implementation, including communication, user adoption, and feedback collection.
  9. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, customizations, and user guides.
  10. Compliance and Security: Ensure that the Prophet 21 ERP system complies with relevant regulations and security standards, and implement necessary controls.
Requirements for the Prophet 21 Business Analyst:
  • Proven experience in implementing and maintaining the Prophet 21 ERP system within a distribution or manufacturing environment, minimum of 2 years
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
