Epicor ERP Administrator

Our client is seeking a skilled Epicor ERP Administrator to manage, support, and optimize their Epicor Kinetic ERP system. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Epicor Kinetic and experience in a manufacturing environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring the ERP system runs smoothly, addressing user needs, and implementing enhancements to support their business processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Administration:
    • Administer and maintain the Epicor Kinetic ERP system, ensuring system stability, performance, and security.
    • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
    • Perform regular system backups and data integrity checks.
    • Monitor system performance and resolve issues promptly.
  • Support & Troubleshooting:
    • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing and resolving ERP-related issues and questions.
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose system problems, working with Epicor support when necessary.
    • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Configuration & Customization:
    • Configure and customize Epicor Kinetic to meet the specific needs of our manufacturing processes.
    • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) using Epicor’s tools.
    • Implement and test system upgrades, patches, and new features.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Analyze current ERP processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
    • Collaborate with departments to understand their needs and translate them into system requirements.
    • Design and deliver training sessions for users to enhance their proficiency with the ERP system.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage ERP-related projects, including system enhancements, integrations, and new module implementations.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and user adoption.
  • Compliance & Security:
    • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
    • Implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive business data.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an ERP Administrator, preferably with Epicor Kinetic in a manufacturing setting.
    • Strong understanding of Epicor Kinetic ERP system, including modules related to manufacturing, finance, and supply chain management.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Epicor Kinetic configuration, customization, and reporting tools.
    • Experience with SQL and data management.
    • Familiarity with ERP system integration and data migration techniques.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
