Position Summary: Our San Diego client is seeking a highly skilled Epic Principal Trainer for Ambulatory/Outpatient Services. This role is crucial to their team and requires local candidates. The Epic Principal Trainer will be responsible for conducting both classroom and individual training sessions, rounding in clinical areas, participating in an on-call rotation, and developing and maintaining training materials and environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive training sessions in both classroom and individual settings.
- Develop and maintain training materials and curricula tailored to ambulatory and outpatient services.
- Conduct rounds in clinical areas to ensure effective training and address any issues.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide ongoing support.
- Ensure all training environments are up-to-date and effective.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Epic Principal Trainer specializing in Ambulatory services.
- Preferred 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Epic TED Certification is preferred.
- Proven experience in curriculum development, individual and classroom training, and making rounds in clinical settings.
- Must be a local candidate or be open to relocation if necessary.
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must be local or willing to relocate.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required.
