Eclipse ERP Analyst Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Eclipse ERP Analyst to join our IT team and support our distribution client’s Epicor Eclipse ERP system, with a strong focus on accounting modules including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL). This role is also responsible for managing and optimizing integrations with key third-party applications such as Avalara, Billtrust, InterPayments, Conexiom, and Worldpay.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working cross-functionally with accounting, operations, and IT teams to drive improvements, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements. This role is critical in ensuring the ERP platform meets business needs through effective configuration, testing, and support.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary support contact for accounting-related modules in Epicor Eclipse, including AR, AP, and GL.
Analyze, define, and document functional and technical requirements for enhancements, integrations, and process improvements.
Configure and test system changes and new features related to accounting and third-party integrations.
Support and troubleshoot ERP issues, providing timely resolution to ensure minimal business disruption.
Manage and optimize integrations with Avalara, Billtrust, InterPayments, Conexiom, and Worldpay.
Collaborate with finance and distribution stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into ERP solutions.
Provide end-user training and develop user documentation to support new processes and capabilities.
Partner with other IT team members to maintain system integrity, perform upgrades, and support project initiatives.
Participate in ERP-related projects, including new feature rollouts and system enhancements.
Qualifications Required:
3+ years of experience supporting Epicor Eclipse ERP, specifically in a distribution environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting processes and modules: AR, AP, GL.
Experience with or exposure to third-party applications and integration points: Avalara, Billtrust, InterPayments, Conexiom, Worldpay.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Experience in requirements gathering, process documentation, testing, and user support.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work cross-functionally across departments.
