Director of Revenue Cycle

150-160k plus bonus

Remote (Boston Based)
 
Must Have:

10 to 15 years of progressively responsible revenue experience

Strong systems and process improvement orientation

Nice to Have:

Industry experience to include a decentralized, provider-oriented healthcare business would be preferred.

A mix of large and small company experience preferred. Ideally has transferred best-in class processes from a large company to a smaller, high-growth organization.

Lean six sigma or other process improvement certification, preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
The Director of Revenue Cycle will lead and continuously develop a highly effective team to support and guide the demands of this growing business. The Director of Revenue Cycle will ensure a culture of accountability, critical thinking, proactive process-oriented problem solving, and data driven decision making

In addition, it is expected that this person will focus on the following responsibilities:

· Serve as an effective recruiter, leader and mentor to the Revenue Cycle team, ensuring the team is high-performing and the appropriate accountability measures are in place.

· Further develop and refine a key billing and collections measures to demonstrate top business performance

· Establish an optimal cadence with the business to communicate performance and to collaboratively resolve outstanding issues

· Proactively identify and develop areas for improved processes and implement new systems and processes to improve the cash conversion cycle

· Integrate newly acquired businesses into the company’s revenue cycle process with minimal disruption to business operations and cash flow
 
· Ability to act as a change agent, skilled in leading, facilitating and directing change in a fast-paced environment
 
· Establish a strong communication link and credibility with the account management team through the highest level of professionalism, mutual respect, and value-add mentality. Seen as key partner to operations leadership and staff in the field.
 
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
 
The successful candidate will have at least 10 to 15 years of progressively responsible experience, with experience as a proven leader of revenue cycle teams ideally in a decentralized healthcare service delivery environment. It is strongly preferred that this individual had previously served as a key financial leader during a sustained period of revenue and earnings growth, acquisition integration activity, geographic expansion, and operational discipline in a fast-paced environment.
 
It will also be important for this individual to bring strong knowledge of business process flows, with a keen ability and passion to immerse themself in day-to-day operations and adding value on a daily basis. The ability to adapt to rapid change, as frequently found in an entrepreneurial environment, combined with the excellent training and structure brought with large company experience, would be an ideal combination. An exceptional individual who has demonstrated superior analytical, communication, and overall business leadership skills.
 
It will be expected that this individual will develop an extremely strong “partner” relationship with the market presidents and sales / account executives. The Director of Revenue Cycle must be viewed as a team player and possess the independence of thought and opinion to provide candor and honesty when making key business decisions.
