Planet Interactive is looking for a Digital Innovation Strategist to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract. This role will work 40 hours per week and will require this person to be onsite hybrid schedule in their Cupertino office.
Digital Innovation Strategist Responsibilities:
Conduct Third-Party Research:
Conduct comprehensive market and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices across both retail, customer experience, emerging tech trends, and content.
Synthesize Insights:
Analyze research findings to generate sharp, actionable insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional team to integrate insights into broader business strategy.
Design and Deliver Presentations:
Create compelling presentations to communicate strategies, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels including executives.
Use storytelling techniques to effectively convey complex information in a simple, high-impact manner.
Develop Content Strategy:
Craft comprehensive content strategies tailored to digital platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand objectives.
Plan and create content calendars to support marketing campaigns and enhance customer engagement.
Write Briefs:
Develop clear and concise briefs for the Marketing & Communications (Marcom) team to guide content creation.
Ensure briefs align with overall content and innovation strategies, providing necessary context and objectives.
Stay Current with Online Trends and Gen Z Insights:
Continuously monitor and analyze online trends, social media movements, and digital behaviors to inform strategy.
Understand and anticipate the preferences and behaviors of Gen Z and other key demographics to tailor content and experiences effectively.
Digital Innovation Strategist Attributes:
Innovation mindset: Demonstrate creativity and a forward-thinking mindset to develop unique solutions and strategies.
Detail-Oriented: Pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
Strong Communicator: Display mastery of both verbal and written communication, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
Collaborative Team Player: Thrive in a team environment, fostering positive relationships and working effectively with diverse groups.
Agile: Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adjusting to changing priorities.
Digitally Savvy: Spend significant time online, actively observing and/or engaging with digital communities e.g. TikTok, IG, YouTube. Stay informed about cultural shifts and trends in eCommerce and social commerce.
Digital Innovation Strategist Qualifications:
Communications: Storytelling skills and experience presenting to an executive audience.
Analysis: Demonstrated ability to mine insights from data and to simplify complex ideas or data inputs.
Strategic Planning: Proven ability to develop and implement effective content and innovation strategies aligned with business goals.
Research and Analysis: Expertise in synthesizing complex data into meaningful insights.
Presentation Design: Skilled in creating visually appealing and impactful Keynote presentations.
5+ Years Experience in Retail or Technology Sector: Background in retail strategy, digital customer experience, Innovation, or content strategy.
