Digital Asset Manager

Location:
Cupertino, CA (will have flexibility to work from home)
Duration: up to 12 months
Pay: Up to $53.35/hr, DOE 

Planet Interactive is looking for a Digital Asset Manager to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on 40 hour a week contract role that could last up to 12 months.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of asset management and cross-functional teamwork, and exercises the highest levels of professionalism and confidentiality.

 

Digital Asset Manager Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the intake and approval of hundreds of assets submitted for promotional use on the all platforms' application stores every month.
  • Work closely with Design, Editorial, Project Management, Production, Business Affairs, Business Management, and Marketing teams to coordinate and deliver engaging promotions to customers.
  • Manage large volumes of creative assets, overseeing the full lifecycle from ingestion and review to approval, handoff, and archiving.
  • Oversee the asset lifecycle from asset request through reviews and approvals to handoff and archiving.
  • Ensure that the requested raster images, vector graphics, video files, and audio files match the requests.
  • Intake requests and share assets with internal teams to follow the brief.
  • Communicate and build cross-functional partnerships within internal teams.
  • Make sure that specifications and guidelines are met by the requested assets.

Digital Asset Manager Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • 3-5 years experience as a Digital Asset Manager
  • Proficient in tools, trackers, and file storage systems such as Quip, Box, iCloud, DAM systems, and applications like Adobe Photoshop
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks effectively.
  • Skilled in assessing assets for policy compliance, technical specifications, and creative alignment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a track record of meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments.
  • Adaptable and thrives in dynamic, rapidly changing settings.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and results-driven with a creative problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong collaboration skills with a history of successful cross-functional partnerships.
  • Deep understanding and passion for technology.
