Job Title: Data Architect with Business Acumen and Interpersonal Skills

Job Description:

We are seeking a Data Architect with strong business acumen and interpersonal skills to design, implement, and maintain our enterprise data project. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing data from various sources, aggregating it, and making it human-readable through visualization layers. They will also establish a flexible maintenance process to accommodate growth and product changes.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement an enterprise data project, handling data from various sources, including computer-aided dispatching systems, electronic patient care record systems, billing systems, and HR systems.
  2. Collaborate with internal and external IT resources to define, design, and cost the project.
  3. Ensure seamless data integration and maintain high data quality throughout the project.
  4. Create human-readable visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  5. Establish a flexible maintenance process to accommodate growth and product changes.

Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Data Architect or a similar role, with a strong understanding of data integration and quality challenges.
  2. Business acumen and the ability to communicate with stakeholders in human-readable formats.
  3. Familiarity with various data sources, including operational systems, finance systems, and HR systems.
  4. Experience working with ETL processes and data lakes.
  5. Strong collaboration skills to work with internal and external IT resources.
  6. Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  7. A general understanding of enterprise data projects and the ability to structure and put them together.
  8. Statistics or machine learning knowledge is not a hard requirement.

Desirable Qualities:
  1. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with various business and IT stakeholders.
  2. Familiarity with healthcare data sources and systems.
  3. Experience in an ambulance company or a similar environment.

This Data Architect will be a key player in our data project, ensuring seamless data integration, high data quality, and human-readable visualizations. The successful candidate will have a solid business understanding and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
