Location: New York, NY 
Title: MS SQL DBA

Must have: 
-DBA for MS SQL Experience + Building Data warehouses
-Experience working with workflow/ETL orchestration tools (ex. Dagster, Airflow, Netflix Conductor)
-Prior experience using distributed streaming & messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ and data processing framework such as Apache Flink, Apache Spark is a plus.
 

Job Description: 
We are looking for a experienced MS SQL DBA who will help optimizing and maintaining existing software complex and data solutions in innovative ways to meet involving customer needs and solve problems. You will participate building modern data processing platform (data pipeline) and customer facing application that empowers advanced network device monitoring, real-time network dashboard and automatic recovering. You will part of a talented engineering team that design, build, maintain and expand upon the integration and automation required to support next generation network and software product.

 Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience as DBA for MS SQL based database environments,
  • Expert at efficient and flexible data modeling (schema design),
  • Expert at database optimization, profiling, tuning, backup, replication, and other database management tasks,
  • Experienced with database clusters, cloud databases and other scalable database technologies,
  • Experience with building Data Warehouses would be beneficial,
  • Experience with OLAP would be beneficial,
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. Mongo DB) would be beneficial,
  • Experience working with workflow/ETL orchestration tools (ex. Dagster, Airflow, Netflix Conductor) is a plus.
  • Prior experience using distributed streaming & messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ and data processing framework such as Apache Flink, Apache Spark is a plus.
  • Knowledge of big data ecosystem and experience working with technologies such as Iceberg, Trino, Solr, StarRocks, Elasticsearch, snowflake, Databricks, object storage S3/MinIO is a plus.
  • Great communication skills and fluent English.
  • US-residency is required.
