Corporate Social Responsibility Specialist
Location: New York City, NY
Onsite: 5 days per week
Pay: $40 per hour DOE
Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, 401K

Planet Interactive is seeking a Corporate Social Responsibility Specialist to join our prominent financial services client on a 6-month contract.

The Corporate Social Responsibility Specialist  will assist with day-to-day management of the CTW program – our client's signature volunteering initiative that leverages the time and skills of their people to drive tangible progress in communities. The Corporate Social Responsibility Specialist will oversee a portfolio of 200+ volunteer projects in the New York City and Jersey City metro areas over the course of the program year.

Corporate Social Responsibility Specialist Core Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and vetting project proposals
  • Liaising with nonprofits to better understand their needs and identify opportunities for collaboration
  • Supporting internal Team Captains, ensuring they have the information and resources to lead their project effectively
  • Monitoring project enrollment and completion, and proactively managing any necessary adjustments
  • Pulling weekly reports to analyze progress and responding to routine requests for data
  • Distributing t-shirts and coordinating transportation for volunteer teams
  • Submitting and tracking charitable payments to nonprofit partners
  • Supporting marketing and communications priorities, including firm-wide emails, external web content, social media, and other needs
  • Other responsibilities as needed
Corporate Social Responsibility Specialist Desired Skills:
  • 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in volunteer management, client services, events management, operations or Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Strong interest in corporate philanthropy and community engagement
  • Proactive and collaborative team player skilled at managing multiple projects and priorities
  • Able to take initiative and drive work with moderate supervision
  • Critical thinker with sound judgment and proven problem solving ability
  • Experience with nonprofit operations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in person, with an ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis
  • Highest degree of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy and discretion






 
Title: Executive Office - Community Teamworks - Program Manager

Location: 200W - NY

Pay rate: 40/hr

Duration: 6 months to start, possible extension to 12 months

 

About the Role:

The Goldman Sachs Office of Corporate Engagement coordinates the global philanthropic efforts of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (Goldman Sachs), including strategic partnerships, charitable giving, and employee community engagement. The Office of Corporate Engagement comprises the Goldman Sachs Foundation (GSF), 10,000 Women10,000 Small BusinessesCommunity TeamWorks (CTW), Goldman Sachs Gives, and other philanthropic and service-oriented endeavors.

 

The Program Manager is a full-time, temporary position. The selected candidate will assist with day-to-day management of the CTW program – Goldman Sachs’ signature volunteering initiative that leverages the time and skills of our people to drive tangible progress in communities. The selected candidate will oversee a portfolio of 200+ volunteer projects in the New York City and Jersey City metro areas over the course of the program year.
