The TA Specialist is a recruiter and brand ambassador who serves as the first point of contact for potential hires. The TA Specialist works together with hiring teams to develop qualifications for open roles and create talent pools for each hiring manager to interview.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing employment applications and resumes to determine if candidates are a match for entry and mid-level openings.
Conducting intake meetings with hiring teams to develop an understanding of open roles and helps set qualifications for open positions.
Conducting phone screening and interviews and provides timely and detailed feedback to hiring teams.
Guiding candidates through the application process and tracking their progress in our database.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, psychology, or related field is preferred
2-5 years of recruiting experience
Ability to objectively evaluate applications and resumes to recommend candidates which are best suited for open roles.
In-depth knowledge of hiring strategies, labor laws, and employment equity.
Proficient with ATS and other recruitment systems.
Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
Pay is $40-43/hr.
