Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Pay: ~$50.00/hr, DOE
The Planet Group is looking for a Content Strategist with a strong communications background to join our well-known lifestyle brand technology client on a 12-month contract. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week role working a remote schedule. This candidate must be located in the EST or CST time zone.
The Content Strategist will be a communications expert who is passionate about simplifying the complex and enabling global sales teams to do their best work by providing them with clear content at the right time. This person will partner closely with Sales Enablement colleagues to create visually compelling and easy-to-understand collateral to land enablement initiatives with teams across the Global Sales Organization.
Content Strategist Responsibilities:
Develop and execute internal project plans to communicate sales enablement activation initiatives to the Global Sales Organization.
Work with existing internal comms teams to surface the right information in the right places.
Develop best-in-class sales content, working closely with the content designer, program strategist and activation lead.
Create net-new comms where needed, creatively come up with ways to communicate clearly and efficiently with our global sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
Lead the creation of internal collateral (cheat sheets, playbooks), and work closely with the content designer to produce output at a very high standard.
Work closely with subject matter experts from training, coaching, manager development, and other cross-functional teams to gather needed information to complete assigned work.
Put together internal guide pages as resources for sellers (HubSpot, Intranet), ensuring clarity and user-friendliness, and in the Brand's tone of voice.
Review and, where necessary, adapt existing content to ensure the deliverables are in a format that is user-friendly and easily integrated in Pinterest’s processes and operations.
Content Strategist Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in developing communications and content for digital media and platforms within advertising-based business models.
Strong understanding of the AdTech sales environment, experience within a sales organization or startup experience is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with internal communications and/or sales enablement. Familiarity with sales operations is a plus.
Proficient in Google Workspace, comfort collaborating via cloud-based shared documents.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
A strong team player with outstanding problem solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Strategy, or equivalent experience.
