Planet Interactive is looking for a Communications Strategist to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract. This role will work 40 hours per week and is 100% remote. This role does require the candidate to work PST hours.
Communications Strategist Responsibilities:
- Develop and create integrated communication and engagement plans.
- Act in a role that is part strategist, part account manager, and part writer for the team.
- Understand the internal employee experience and build communications around the various programs. These could be new programs or expansions on current ones.
- Pull reporting, insights, and data and make well informed decisions around the information.
- Develop strategies for the various internal audiences that meet the goals and KPI's set forth.
- Work with external vendors and partners on campaigns and work.
- Create project briefs and plans and then prep the internal of external team that is aiding in the work.
- Collaborate with team members throughout the development and execution of the needs that span digital media, editorial, creative, and more.
- Write and build key messages for campaigns, employee initiatives, product launches, and more.
- Be in tune with what internal employees need from employee programs and think about their experience throughout the creation process.
- Present to internal and external stakeholders through Keynote.
- 7+ years' experience ideally working on employee initiatives within a retail or healthcare setting.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience navigating a large cross-functional organization.
- Strong writing skills and ideally can share samples.
- Experience working within a media, publishing, PR, or advertising agency environment.
