Client Service Rep: Financial Operations
6-month contract
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Mainly remote but local candidates only)

$24-26/hr

Must Haves:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of QC experience financial services or banking industry
  • MS Office (proficient)
Preferred:
  • Knowledge of deposit operations
  • Has been in a financial operations role (gathering info for clients)


Job Description:
  • The Global Onboarding and Fulfillment (GOBF) Quality Control (QC) team at Silicon Valley Bank is responsible for validating the accuracy of work for commercial client information files (CIFs), deposit & investment products, online banking, and cash management services. Our QC team is driven to meet client needs and support their global banking experience through an accurate and timely servicing of their deposit products and services.

    A Client Service Advisor I (CSA I) is an integral part of a production team responsible for supporting internal business partners in fulfilling client requests. A CSA I works alongside a large team across multiple regions and through an array of different systems. QC is a highly adaptable and resilient team in a changing work environment, is collaborative, and open to new ideas and fluid workflows.

    Job Responsibilities Include:

    • Validating the accuracy of work for our GOBF teams
    • Delivering an excellent client experience by providing a timely and accurate servicing of client records for the commercial bank.
    • Supporting client financial needs through proper maintenance of deposit accounts and online banking services.
    • Providing accurate and clear operational guidance to clients and internal business partners consistent with regulatory requirements, bank policy, and department procedures
    • Processing approximately 200-300 quality review requests per month
    • Adherence to tight service level agreements on client requests
    • Ability to research simple to moderately complex requests and communicate to business partners a timely resolution of client inquiries
    • Flexibility with hours of support and coverage
    • May support tasks related to regulatory monitoring of accounts as needed

    Desired Skills:

    • Ability to learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately
    • Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and intense focus on delivering results
    • Detailed-oriented with a keen eye for accurate quality of work
    • Strong ability to multi-task, handle high volumes via multiple work queues, and effectively manage time to meet deliverables
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Resourceful in researching inquiries and providing solutions in simple to moderately complex scenarios
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • Prefer 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance and the financial industry, knowledge of deposit operations is a plus
