Job Title: Client Customer Service Representative

Must Haves:
  • Call Center Experience
  • Good communication skills via phone - must be courteous and professional
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Programs
Preferred:
  • Previous Administrative Experience

Job Summary:

Our department is seeking office and client support, including answering telephone, greeting clients, letter writing, and other office tasks as assigned.
  • Opens new referrals in MRCIS assigned to caseload. Send Initial Wait list letters to new referrals. Makes up temporary folders for new referrals, keeps them in file cabinet. Keeps track of waitlist release dates and send 60 day wait list letters informing clients of upcoming release dates. Transfers cases to assigned counselors on release dates. Takes calls when client is interested in services and forwards case to Unit Supervisor for assignment of counselor. (process will change in near future)
  • May be asked to participate in Area Office staff meetings conducted by Area Director (Administrator V).
  • Provides clerical support to counselors, answers telephones and greets clients on a rotating basis with other
  • Clerical staff.
  • Process case closures, checks for closure dates on MRCIS, pulls index cards, records closures on worksheets for monthly reporting, organizes case files and makes of closure folder and files case closures into closed case file cabinets.
