Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with expertise in Epicor ERP systems and Power BI to support our manufacturing client. In this role, you will be responsible for driving data insights, building reports, and providing analytical support for business decision-making processes using Power BI, while integrating data from Epicor. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the reporting needs of the organization are met, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and clarity.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving data insights, building reports, and providing analytical support for business decision-making processes using Power BI, while integrating data from Epicor. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the reporting needs of the organization are met, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights via Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Integrate and analyze data from Epicor ERP systems into Power BI to provide comprehensive reporting solutions tailored to manufacturing operations.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards for real-time business performance tracking.
- Support the business by providing ad-hoc analysis, KPI tracking, and identifying trends that impact manufacturing operations, inventory, procurement, production, and more.
- Ensure that data is accurate, reliable, and aligned with business needs by validating data flows between Epicor and Power BI.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the data structures, processes, and workflows within Epicor ERP to enable effective reporting.
- Provide ongoing training and support to business users in utilizing Power BI and Epicor data to improve self-service analytics capabilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, report performance, and system functionality.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure smooth data extraction and reporting processes from Epicor and other business systems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements through data analysis and reporting automation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, with a focus on data reporting, analysis, and dashboard development.
- Strong proficiency with Epicor ERP, particularly in relation to data extraction, reporting, and analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and building complex visualizations.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable BI solutions.
- Experience in data integration, ETL processes, and working with large datasets.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and derive insights from data.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
