Job Description:
The Conference Center Associate Coordinator will work with direct supervision, reporting to the Conference Center Supervisor.
The Conference Center Associate Coordinator works closely with internal clients to plan, schedule and implement small / midsize meetings held within the Plano Conference Center.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding level of customer service designed to exceed the goals and objectives of each client using the Conference Center.
- Oversee day-to-day assignment of conference rooms and manages space by using web-based application, “RESERVE.”
- Works directly with internal clients to develop and finalize program for small / midsize events.
- Provides audio-visual & equipment support as requested.
- Responsible for the production and distribution on reports associated with conference room activity.
- Responsible for the confirmation of meeting activity prior to each scheduled meeting.
- Responsible for maintaining conference room space as well as personal work area. This includes daily walk-throughs using checklist as well as interim sweeps throughout the day. Follows all guidelines as it relates to conference room protocols, policy and procedures and escalates issues to Conference Center Supervisor when they arise.
- Displays strong customer service skills, with high attention to detail
- Must have strong technical aptitude and interest in learning new technology
- Must have a high level of accuracy
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Consistently demonstrates polished interpersonal and organizational skills
- Demonstrates the ability to work in a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Products
