Job Title: Administrative Assistant 2
Contract Duration: Tentative start date: Jan 6, 2025 through Jun 6, 2025 (Assignment extensions occur quarterly. The selected candidate has the potential to stay in the role for up to 18 months.)
Pay: $27.75/hr
Onsite/Remote/Hybrid (if onsite/hybrid please give city/town name): Remote, This role can be 100% remote, but if they are willing and close to an office (Redmond B35 or NY NYC 122 FIFTH AVE), that would be great if needed but not a dealbreaker if they cannot. 1 day per week if able
Must Haves: The role requires 2-4 overall years of experience in the field
Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. Minimum 2-4 years experience with MSFT office experience
2. Minimum 2-4 years experience with Great customer service
3. Minimum 2-4 years experience with Previous Admin Assistant experience
Preferred: The ideal resume would contain Microsoft experience and/or experience in managing projects and being a self-starter.
Job Description:
Performs a variety of complex administrative functions for all levels of management including external business partners. Manages schedule(s), coordinates travel arrangements and processes business expenses. Coordinates meetings and events, department financial operations, personnel operations, and facility operations. Manages procurement of goods and services including computer equipment, office supplies, reference materials, and vendor relationships. Provides general office support. Serves as the department/group contact. Completes special projects as assigned.
Typical Day in the Role:
• Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is a sales organization. This is a fast-paced org and is continuing to grow. This role will be covering 2 high-level managers that need admin support – 1 covering the Operation/Business Management Team, the other a customer facing sales team leader.
• Key projects: This role will contribute to Operations, Operating budget, team support, basic admin duties
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of -
- 10% Emails
- 40% Actioning emails
- 20% Calendar support
- 20% Team support and one-off tasks as they come in.
- 10% OPEX reporting
