SUMMARY:

The Accounting Manager participates in the monthly financial close process, prepares reports to communicate the results to the leadership team. Oversight of annual budgeting and planning process; Analyze and present timely, accurate reports on the company’s results.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential:
  • Intercompany accounts recharges and reconciliation
  • Analyze consolidated financial packages and analysis financial reports by monthly
  • Prepare Consolidated budget and forecast
  • Lead continuous improvement on financial reporting process
  • Conduct financial system implementation and improvements
  • Evaluate the financial system data to ensure the accuracy and properly posted to the book
  • Assist in equity financing and employee stock option tasks
  • Coordinate external financial audit and review the related documents
  • Reviews branch office and subsidiaries accounting transactions
  • Prepare the transaction guidance of finance department for each site to follow
  • Cost accounting and inventory reconciliation
  • Assist in Budget preparation.
  • Assist in monthly forecast and full year forecast with comparisons to budget
  • Supervision of accounting staff

 

Supplementary:
  • Assist on the Board and shareholder meetings materials preparation
  • Execute ad hoc projects and create new policy and procedures as needed
  • In close cooperation with supervisor performs the following activities:
  • Perform special projects and ad-hoc analysis for management
  • Support to Corporate Controller for specific projects as needed

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:
  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum of 5 years experiences
  • CPA/MBA preferred

 

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of accounting theory and/or US GAAP
  • Public/Private experience in a publicly held company preferred
  • Experience with the pharmaceutical industry or other life science businesses highly preferred
  • Highly detail oriented and organized in work
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines
  • Adapt to new situations and work in a fast-paced environment and instill a sense of urgency
  • Problem solving and handle stress effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computer skills
  • Experienced in ERP and financial system
