Account/ Relationship Manager

Planet Interactive is seeking an Account/ Relationship Manager to join one of our biotechnology clients. This is a full-time salaried role that does allow for someone to be 100% remote. This role requires roughly 25% of the time will be spent traveling to partners.
Account/ Relationship Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of set clients to enable growth.
- Work with the portfolio to put in orders, negotiate prices, and manage new agreements/ contracts.
- Build long-lasting partnerships with the portfolio and serve as the primary point of contact.
- Bring strategic recommendations and ideas to the portfolio of clients to help bring about new opportunities.
- Develop reports, presentations, and updates for the portfolio to show account performance, share market trends, and forecasts.
- Be forward thinking when it comes to understanding buying behaviors and how that impacts the portfolio.
- Manage any pink or red flags when it comes to issues and quickly remedy.
- Work cross-functionally with the internal team like marketing, product, and logistics to ensure that the product/ inventory are correct for delivery.
- Analyze trends and insights to help improve overall performance and the relationship.
- Bring an analytical and problem solving approach to the role.
- Ensure deadlines and timelines are being met.
- At least 5 years' experience in B2B account management.
- Experience working on a physical product brand side within a consumer product or pet brand.
- Bachelors degree.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
