Job Description



Key Responsibilities:
  • Timely and accurate AP voucher entry
  • Apply correct general ledger and project codes to the AP vouchers
  • Assist (internal clients) with preparation of electronic Purchase Orders
  • Respond to vendor phone and mail inquiries
  • Review and process employee expense reports bi-weekly
  • Coordinate processing of vendor payments weekly
  • Promptly communicate any vendor pricing or payment timing issues and assist in resolving disputed terms or transactions.
  • Complete vendor reconciliations monthly
  • Assist with 1099 preparation
  • Additional special projects as needed

Qualifications:
 
  • Minimum of 2 plus years of AP experience in a professional services environment
  • Associate degree in Accounting is a plus
  • Computer skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of Deltek Accounting Software is a plus
  • Strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to respond in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
