Location: Cupertino, CA

Planet Interactive is looking for a Video Editor to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 6 month contract, with the potential to go longer! This role will be 40 hours per week and will require a hybrid schedule working out of their office in Cupertino.
Video Editor Responsibilities:
- Support the short-form and longer-form content creation for both internal and external audiences.
- Edit videos mixing b-roll footage, documentary footage, and short slices to make final pieces.
- Edit videos to create engaging stories.
- Color correct footage.
- Deliver final videos to the team that meet the standards of the brand.
- Work on projects under the direction of the Photo and Video Manager and make sure that assigned work is delivered on time.
- Handle on occasion some pre-production planning and international productions.
- Create some light title card designs, motion elements, and 2D animations.
Video Editor Requirements:
- 5+ years experience editing videos for digital/web.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro. Flame Artist a plus.
- Agency, production house, or post-production studio experience a must.
- Excellent working knowledge of file management, editing, video color correction, and finishing/compositing.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Communication or Media Arts or Radio/TV/Film Production.
