Planet Interactive is looking for a Video Editor to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 6 month contract, with the potential to go longer! This role will be 40 hours per week and will require a hybrid schedule working out of their office in Cupertino.
Video Editor Responsibilities:
Support the short-form and longer-form content creation for both internal and external audiences.
Edit videos mixing b-roll footage, documentary footage, and short slices to make final pieces.
Edit videos to create engaging stories.
Color correct footage.
Deliver final videos to the team that meet the standards of the brand.
Work on projects under the direction of the Photo and Video Manager and make sure that assigned work is delivered on time.
Handle on occasion some pre-production planning and international productions.
Create some light title card designs, motion elements, and 2D animations.
Video Editor Requirements:
5+ years experience editing videos for digital/web.
Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro. Flame Artist a plus.
Agency, production house, or post-production studio experience a must.
Excellent working knowledge of file management, editing, video color correction, and finishing/compositing.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Communication or Media Arts or Radio/TV/Film Production.
