Job Description
Grant Officer
Contract – 3 months
Remote
Pay Range: $37.11-$39.11/hr
Must Haves:
The Grant Officer will provide support to the department through the responsibilities outlined below.
Grant Officer Responsibilities: Tasks will vary and involve working with the staff to ensure the smooth administration of the review process for the Staffing Recovery Grant review. • Staffing Recovery Guidelines and Application Familiarization • Online Application Familiarization • Determining the eligibility of applicants post application deadline using our online process
• Assisting with the coordination of materials for the panel reviews including but not limited to developing reports, organizing materials for the panel, assisting with the setup of panel meetings, and data analyses
• Preparing contract paperwork
• Attending meetings on an as needed basis
• Other tasks as required.
Qualifications: • Attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency in executing tasks for internal as well as external audiences
• Ability to hold accountability and shared ownership of projects and tasks
• Strong communication and active listening skills with coworkers and a wide range of stakeholders
• Dependability and timeliness
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Professionalism
• Customer Focus
• Knowledge of arts and/or humanities
• Knowledge of grants
Education and Experience: • University/college degree is an asset not requirement
• Familiarity with grant systems
• Previous experience with Microsoft Office software preferred
Contract – 3 months

- Intermediate Experience with Microsoft Office Programs
- Knowledge of grants and grant systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- BA/BS Degree
