Must Haves:
The Events Coordinator will support the planning and execution of various events and projects within this university department, reporting to the Executive Director of Alumni Relations and Special Events and the Director of Special Events.

Must Haves:
- 3+ years of relevant event management experience or 1+ years of relevant experience and bachelors degree
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Event management and marketing experience including website updating, social media posting and managing event registration platforms.
- MS Office, Google Suite, Zoom webinar, platforms for link tracking, email marketing systems, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and web content management systems such as Drupal.
- Some evening and weekend work required.
- College Degree
- Experience in event planning, philanthropy, alumni relations and related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Cvent, Eventbrite, Mailchimp, Raiser’s Edge, and Zoom
- Experience in a university, major cultural institution or other comparable environment is desirable.
The Events Coordinator will support the planning and execution of various events and projects within this university department, reporting to the Executive Director of Alumni Relations and Special Events and the Director of Special Events.
Duties Include:
- Assisting and coordinating a variety of event logistics, including development, faculty, and alumni events, sometimes outside regular hours.
- Supporting online donor and prospect communications through mass emails, managing online registrations, and updating the master internal calendar.
- Managing Zoom virtual events, including setup, registration, communication, and coordination with the AV team and speakers.
- Assisting faculty, donors, prospects, and alumni volunteers with correspondence, report preparation, meeting setup, and post-meeting follow-up.
- Conducting basic research on alumni and maintaining confidential files.
- Performing other administrative duties as needed.
