Planet Technology is looking for a Director of Technical Battery Marketing to join a publicly traded electric car battery company based in Massachusetts.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled marketing strategist with a passion for developing and implementing unique marketing techniques and business development approaches with a strong background in battery science.

Planet Technology is looking for a Director of Technical Battery Marketing to join a publicly traded electric car battery company based in Massachusetts.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled marketing strategist with a passion for developing and implementing unique marketing techniques and business development approaches with a strong background in battery science.
Responsibilities
- Lead a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the Organization’s image and position and facilitate internal and external communications.
- Lead market research, content development, digital advertising, paid media, collateral development, and tradeshow messaging.
- Develop and execute company messaging and identify new ways to approach the market and expand existing contacts and engagements in the industry.
- Create valuable content for the company's online presence, editorial design, and organize the company's publications.
- Lead social media strategy, manage copy, content creation, and metrics analysis.
- Website oversight, maintenance, analytics and content creation and refresh.
- PHD in battery science required
- Proven experience as a marketing leader with a track record of success.
- Real Battery, Battery cell, fundamental R&D, materials, and engineering experience
- Extensive understanding of battery technology, can understand and speak to very technical terms and concepts
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to speak at conferences, webinars, etc. with excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent writing and publishing skills in national publications.
- Analytical and creative thinking skills.
- Thorough knowledge of current and online marketing techniques and best practices.
