Job Description


Controller

The Krueger Group is an award-winning residential and commercial construction firm that partners with our clients to define and build their vision. Because of our continued growth, we are seeking a self- starting, highly motivated Controller.

Here’s what you will do:
  • Effectively process bi-weekly payroll using QuickBooks.
  • Efficiently reconcile multiple accounts including bank and credit cards.
  • Manage A/P and A/R using QuickBooks.
  • Bookkeeping functions such as maintaining depreciation and amortization schedules and creating journal entries.
  • Prepare project profitability reports and POs based on budgets.
  • Prepare financial statements and assist with payroll tax preparation.

Here’s what you will bring:
  • Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks (including payroll) required.
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Previous experience preparing COs and POs.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in a fast paced, quality focused environment.
  • Construction experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Outgoing positive personality and a sense of humor a must.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
