Associate Director of Account Services Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for Director level and higher Marketing partners.
- Work with Stakeholders to prepare a brand plan, and lead the team to execute it.
- Consistently meet with Stakeholders to ensure projects are on strategy, and opportunities to benefit the account are discussed.
- Supports the Account Manager with the develop of creative briefs and team input.
- At all times, represents the greater Account team to Stakeholders, Senior Leadership, and the Creative team with the ability to make decisions and communicate changes on their behalf.
- Problem solve and implement solutions quickly.
- Review all jobs before Marketing Stakeholder review, ensuring alignment with strategy and adherence to exceptional quality; confirms with Account Managers that work mirrors Creative Briefs and PRC feedback.
- Be an expert on the industry, the brands, the competition and is influential in Revance business strategy.
- Encourage the team to understand the product, competitive landscape, and account’s needs and business.
- Understand the Marketing Stakeholders, including their motivations, their “hot buttons”, and how best to serve their needs from a business and business professional standpoint.
- Accurately assess situations and makes recommendations consistent with the clients’ overall marketing objectives; encourages Account Managers to grow and improve upon their own strategic thinking.
- Anticipate obstacles, infuses energy into the process, and works with a sense of urgency.
- Lead the presentation of brand plans, campaigns, and strategy to Stakeholders; also knows when to allow other account members the opportunity to be a voice in the room.
- Be a member of the Senior Leadership team, meeting on a consistent basis regarding account status, health, and other issues.
- Mentor and develop Account Managers.
- Delegate and direct tasks to supporting team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Resource talent for the account team and can hire and release individuals as needed.
- Offer insights on optimizing process and protocols for the team.
- BA or higher in Advertising, Business, Marketing, or related field EXPERIENCE.
- 7-10 years industry experience in account/client management with an advertising/marketing agency or similar in-house corporate role; at least 5 years’ experience in healthcare/pharmaceuticals.
- Hands-on drug launch experience.
- Demonstrated excellence in prior roles as an Account Director / Manager or similar titles.
- Familiarity with the range of aesthetics marketing collateral; in theory and in practice.
- Working knowledge of the healthcare marketing-regulatory process.
- Up-to-date knowledge of advertising and marketing industry and current trends.
- Ability to understand and articulate a marketing strategy and think critically.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing a high volume of tasks with a high level of self-guidance and flexibility.
- Offers a creative approach to problem solving and savvy in negotiating the unexpected.
- Equally adept in addressing day to day tasks and contributing to broader strategic thinking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (especially PowerPoint and Excel), Adobe Creative Suite (especially Adobe Acrobat); ZiFlow and Figma experience a plus but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The interpersonal skills, behavior, and personality (flexible, positive “can-do” attitude) to adapt and respond to Marketing and Creative team needs.
- Ease in connecting and engaging with a variety of personalities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
