Accounts Payable Specialist
  • Location: Canton, OH
  • Department: Finance
  • Full Time – Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
  1. Process accounts payable invoices promptly and accurately.
  2. Review invoices for proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
  3. Communicate with vendors to resolve payment-related issues.
  4. Enter timecards daily and assist with bi-weekly payroll activities.
  5. Participate in month-end closing procedures.
  6. Provide support for other accounting and finance functions as needed.
  7. Contribute to special projects and assist with yearly audits.
Qualifications:
  • Proven work experience as an Account Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collection regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software.
  • Excellent data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors.
  • Good organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Must Have:
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent required.
  • 2 years of related field experience.
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
  • If duties involve operating a motor vehicle, must pass a motor vehicle record check.
