Contract Duration: Tentative start date: Nov 4, 2024 through Jun 30, 2025 (Assignment extensions occur quarterly. The selected candidate has the potential to stay in the role for up to 18 months.)

Must Haves: The role requires 8-10 overall years of experience in the field.
Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
· Minimum 8 years of experience with Excel – intermediate – navigate large data sets power pivots, pivot tables, vlookups.
· Any years of experience with Power BI is a plus.

• Document end-to-end processes in detail and at a high-level that can be leveraged by execution teams and for executive presentations.
• Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend and/or develop solutions to business and financial problems.
• Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
* Partner cross functionally and drive collaboration across various teams including: Finance, Accounting, Operations, Business Development, Engineering, Compliance and other partners.
Skills:
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
• Advanced ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Advanced ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
• Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software. Advanced Excel user.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.

· Purpose of the Team: The team manages accounting related activities.
· Key projects: This role will be responsible for figuring out how to enable non-standard partner deals, figure out how to make the partnership work within the construct of accounting systems. Work hand and hand with engineering teams- build out report systems, finance- ensure financial accuracy, completeness of any billings. Candidates will help with documentation of where data is being pulled, assist with organization, and add additional support to the team.
· Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 30% meetings, 50% heads down work, and 20% coordination, communication, and cross collaboration.
